Austin is the perfect place to have an unforgettable bachelor party with the guys. Send the groom off with a getaway to remember by hitting up the hottest bars on 6th Street, stopping by the Yellow Rose for a tasty dinner with female entertainment, or renting a boat from Kon Tiki Party Barge to spend a day on the water. No matter what he is into, Austin is the perfect place to plan any type of bachelor party.
Dinner Austin Land and Cattle
Make reservations to treat the groom-to-be to a nice steak dinner and strong drinks at one of the best area restaurants. The waitstaff is friendly and welcoming to large parties, and it’s highly recommended over any chain restaurant. Happy Hour is only on the weekdays, but drinks are not necessary if the party is planning to hit 6th Street after dinner.
The Yellow Rose
Not every bachelor party ends up at a strip club, but this is one of the best in the area. The food is surprisingly good and inexpensive for this type of establishment. Everyone that goes in has a good time enjoying the show along with the drink specials. A close competitor is Sugar’s Uptown Cabaret if the place is too packet to enjoy.
Kon Tiki Party Barge
Get together with a large group to board the boat for a day of partying on the water. Pool together the funds to rent for a few hours and enjoy swimming and eating among the good company of the bachelor party crew before heading out for a night in town.
Famous 6th Street Bars
Spend the night bouncing around from bar to bar with fun names like Bourbon Girl and The Chugging Monkey. Every crowd is different and may find the best atmosphere at a hole in the wall rather than the building packed full of college kids. Don’t be afraid to go in and have a drink in a few different places before deciding on one everyone can agree on. Be careful not to overpay because there are specials on beer and mixed drinks all over the place.
Kung Fu Saloon
Although it is technically another bar on 6th Street, Kung Fu Saloon is the perfect spot to have a good time with the guys. It’s hard to imagine a better chance to party like an adult while unleashing the inner child with a fully stocked bar, arcade games, and giant Jenga. Don’t forget to sample one of the many different Sake Bombs or beer on tap.
Whether planning one night or a full weekend to celebrate the bachelor party, Austin can accommodate with plenty of activities. Keep in mind the type of guy the groom is and what types of establishments he would have the most fun enjoying. If the guys want to check out the locals then roam around the bars and nightclubs in the heart of Downtown. Stick to a night eating and drinking at a nice restaurant or lounge to spend a little time bonding with the guys before the big day.
